"Bring bling to a whole new level."

I loved Essie's luxeffects that came out last winter and seemed to have become part of their "permanent" collection so I was excited to read that they added a new "color" to the assortment: Essie's Stroke of Brilliance.  It's a periwinkle blue in a clear base, the promo image is just killer, and needs to be in my collection like... uhh... YESTERDAY.  Essie recommends layering it over chinchilly, lapiz of luxury, and over the edge, but really, there's a million different colors to try it with.  I've heard rumors that this is at Walgreens, we shall see.  I'll update as soon as it's on my nails!

*Update* This topcoat is just gorgeous.  Like the others in the LuxeEffect line, it goes on smooth, not clumpy, delivers shine, sparkle, and longwearability... In fact, it's kind of a b*tch to get off.  One coat does the trick, but it layers easily for more glitter, if that sort of thing floats your boat.  It also dries quickly, which is a nice added bonus.  This is a fab addition to the Luxeffect line!
