Spend less time shaving, Spend more time doing awesome things.

As temperatures rise, so do hemlines, and that means us ladies need to devote a little more time to our legs!

I received a free razor from BIC via a BzzCampaign and I loved it so much I just had to share!*  The BIC Soleil Savvy Razor is probably one of my favorite products of the summer!  This disposable razor system features one handle and four changeable razor heads... its a fancy cross between a disposable and a non-disposable razor system.

Now I'm a lady who requires a silky, smooth leg so typically I have to shave daily. I've tried pretty much every type of razor from Venus to Schick to store brands with mixed results. This razor has a good grip and excellent control for a smooth, nick free shave that lasts MULTIPLE days. I cannot believe how incredibly smooth my legs were. See ya later, 2nd day stubble!

My excitement over the design:  Every year, something like 4 billion disposable razors end up in landfills in the USA alone.  Being aware of this number makes me want to stick to my usual refillable razors.  Financially... that can't always happen.  At a cost of 15-20 bucks for 3 or 4 razor cartridges sometimes I have to settle for the less costly, and typically less effective, disposable options.  I'm sure this is the same for many people, especially in this economy.  The innovative design idea of this razor (one handle, four razor refills) has the potential to decrease the amount of waste due to razors every year, especially if other razor options jump on this bandwagon!

Overview:  This razor is AWESOME.  A totally affordable razor option that doesn't sacrifice quality.  Smooth, silky legs for days = less time spent shaving, more time spent doing awesome things.

BIC Soleil Savvy Razor, $8 at most retailers.

*Disclaimer: Even though I received this razor for free, I am NOT a person who will peddle just anything, I have to be confident in the product.

Summer Mixed Mani

This is a nail trend I could really take or leave... the whole "standout" nail trend.  I feel like it can very easily look cheesy and fugly, but two shades from Essie's Summer 2012 "Bikini so Teeny" line just looked so killer together I had to give it a shot, even it it's just this once. ;)  Besides, bright nails are the perfect accessory for any bikini.

So here it is:
Essie's Fear or Desire accented with Off the Shoulder on one finger

The picture really does it no justice.  Fear or Desire didn't photograph true to life".  In person the shades compliment each other perfectly, similar enough that it doesn't look bogus but different enough that it's kind of eyecatching.  I really like the overall look, there's nothing like a pop of color to take your nails from whatever to wow.  I'll probably repeat this mani because it's so fresh and summery and maybe try it out on my toes.
